Kate Brown took the opportunity to revel in a monumental milestone Wednesday, 489 days after Oregon’s first coronavirus case, with the official end to all state restrictions brought on by the pandemic. “Welcome back, Oregon,” Brown said at the conclusion of her speech at Providence Park, pumping her fist in the air as the 200 or so invited guests applauded for the umpteenth time. “Let’s make it happen.”
