Subscriber only Police are warning a destructive rampage through a Walkerston sporting club may be the first domino in a series of attacks after the offender escaped custody. Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch officer in charge Detective Senior Sergeant Jack Savage said an investigation was continuing after a masked driver ploughed a stolen Toyota HiLux utility through the front doors of Western Suburbs Leagues Club. Sergeant Savage said the ute, stolen from an Eton property on the Peak Downs Highway, was used to break into the club just before 3am on Wednesday, January 6. Â Three minutes of CCTV footage captured the frenzied rampage, with the car smashing through the entrance hall 15 times before the masked offender left the ute.
