Sun Country Airlines Announces 16 New Nonstop Routes

MIAMI – Sun Country Airlines (SY) adds 16 nonstop flights with nine routes from their main hub at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). The announced expansion includes nine nonstop airports to its growing network. Specifically, this expansion includes nine nonstop routes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), two new nonstop routes from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and one additional nonstop route from San Antonio International Airport (SAT), Indianapolis International Airport (IND), and Bradley International Airport (BDL). The carrier will welcome nine new airports destinations to it route network which include Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, John Wayne Airport (SNA) Orange County, California, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Huston Texas, Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) North Carolina.

Qatar Airways Resumes Flights to Dubai, UAE

MIAMI – After three and a half years of diplomatic conflicts, Qatar Airways (QR) has finally resumed service to the United Arab Emirates with flights to Dubai (DXB). Qatar Airways flight 1018 departed to Dubai from Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) at 7:18 PM on January 27, 2021. QR used a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to fly the short 235mi (378km) hop between the two cities. After 47 minutes of flight time, QR touched down in Dubai for the first time since mid-2017. For the rest of January and the month of February, the carrier has scheduled twice-daily flights into Dubai. This frequency consists of 11-weekly Boeing 787s and 3-weekly Airbus A320s

Deutsche Aircraft: Maximilian Fahr, New Supply Chain Director

Fahr is driving the strategic development and growth of the supply chain activities of the D328eco program towards entry its into service. He most recently held leadership positions in purchasing, quality and project management at Airbus where he contributed to the development, production and delivery of components for more than 3,000 Airbus aircraft in Europe and Asia. He also ran his own financial and strategic consulting firm in Brazil. He then moved to Asia while working for Airbus, where he was responsible for local procurement and development support for Airbus in the region, including work at the A320 Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Tianjin, China.
