INDIANOLA, Iowa The body of an adult male was recovered from Lake Ahquabi in Warren County Sunday morning according to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. It was found at 10:15 a.m. 20 yards from shore in the beach and swimming area.
The Iowa DNR said foul play does not appear to be a factor. The body was transported to the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

Officers said they received reports that the man had already discharged shots inside his home. According to radio traffic, the man s wife walked to a neighbor s house for help after her husband fired a gun twice in the house. The neighbor called 911. Radio traffic details more of what was said in the 911 call. He has a handgun. Now saying she heard a shot as she was walking to the neighbors, a dispatcher said. They re saying the male s been drinking all day, When officers arrived on the scene, they requested assistance from the Warren County SWAT unit. According

Car collides with tree in Sunday crash Share Updated: 6:40 AM CDT Apr 26, 2021 The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash in Warren County Sunday on US 61, just north of Oak Ridge Road.The crash happened around 11:30 a.m.According to MHP, a pickup truck was traveling southbound when it suddenly left the roadway and collided with a tree.The driver was not wearing his seat belt and died as a result from his injuries.The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle.The driver has been identified as Tommy Duchesne, 65, of Vicksburg.
