Norwalk Fire Chief Ryan Coburn is on paid administrative leave after being arrested in Indianola on Saturday on the suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence. According to a police report, Coburn was pulled over after police received reports that a vehicle was swerving on the roadway near the Warren County Fairgrounds at about 10:55 p.m Saturday. The report said Coburn appeared sluggish, had bloodshot and watery eyes and failed multiple physical sobriety tests. A breath test showed him with a .206% BAC, more than two and a half times the legal limit.
