Sterling Thomas Uleberg, 18, Minot, who had originally been charged with Class C felony terrorizing a juvenile while in possession of a gun on March 3, pleaded guilty on Dec. 9 to the reduced charge of Class A misdemeanor menacing.
North Central District Court Judge Gary Lee sentenced him to 360 days in the Ward County Jail and ordered him to pay $125 in court costs.
Uleberg, who was 17 at the time of the offense but was charged as an adult, is facing a slew of other charges in district court in Minot and is in custody at the Ward County Jail.

Sterling Thomas Uleberg, 18, is charged in district court in Minot with a Class C felony for allegedly burglarizing the All Seasons Arena at 2:50 a.m. on June 29. According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Uleberg smashed a window at the arena using a hammer he stole from inside a tow truck parked in the racetrack area at the fairgrounds. He then broke into vending machines in the arena, stealing food and drinks which he and a girl then ate in a rodeo arena. According to the affidavit, Uleberg broke into the vending machines because the girl said she was hungry. The damage done to a broken window at the arena was $409 and the cost to repair the two broken vending machines was about $4,000.
