Police investigate after crash leaves 1 dead in Vallejo
VALLEJO A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday night, the city’s fifth fatal vehicular incident of the year.
Police responded at approximately 5:36 p.m. to the report of a motorcycle vs. vehicle traffic collision on the 1400 block of Enterprise Street. Officers who arrived there found a 31-year-old Vallejo man in critical condition.
Medical personnel responded to the scene, attempted life-saving measures and transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead by hospital staff, according to a press release issued Saturday.
Preliminary reports indicate the motorcyclist was driving westbound on Enterprise Street when he collided with a second vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old American Canyon man. That driver did not suffer any injuries and is cooperative with the investigation, police report.

The crash happened at approximately 11:20 p.m. in the area of Maine Street and Mare Island Way.
One vehicle involved in the crash had four occupants.
The front-seat passenger, identified Friday as Jaznin Addison, 34, of Vallejo, was ejected from the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The driver was critically injured and airlifted to a local hospital, police report. The two rear passengers, one of whom was also ejected, both had minor to moderate injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
