Two men have died after being pulled from the water on April 8 in Miramar Beach. One is a 55-year-old from Dunwoody, Georgia. The other is a 21-year-old from Gray, Louisiana, according to aFacebook post from the Walton County Sheriff s Office. Know that just because we cannot keep you out of the Gulf during single red, does not mean you should be in it. Mother nature can be very unforgiving, said WCSO in the post.
Lifeguards in Walton County rescued 11 people that same day in Miramar Beach, all within a few minutes of one another, said Beach Safety Director David Vaughan.
The AHCA s communications office confirmed late last week that it had received the complaint. But in an email to the Daily News, the communications office also noted that the agency is unable to provide additional details concerning the complaint at this time.
The hospital is aware of the complaint, according to Ron Kelley, marketing and recruitment director for Healthmark. But like the AHCA, the hospital would not comment on the specifics. We don t have any comment on anything that could be ongoing, Kelley said.
But he added that he would forward the Daily News request for information on to the hospital administration in the event that anyone in those ranks might want to comment.
