Volvo has improved its U.S. car sales in February by 16.9% year-over-year to 9,164, which is the best result for the month of February since 2014 and the ninth month of consecutive growth. 80% of the overall volume is SUVs.
We are of course most interested in the plug-in Recharge models and it seems that demand for these is also gradually improving. According to Volvo,
nearly 10% of total February sales were plug-ins. That would
probably be less than 900.

Volvo Reports February 2021 US Sales
Volvo Car USA sales up 16.9 percent over February 2020 with 9,164 cars sold
Best February result since 2014 and ninth consecutive month of growth
US sales up 23.7 percent (+3,317 cars) year-to-date
Volvo Car Americas region sales up 13.9 percent year-over-year
MAHWAH, NJ (March 2, 2021) Volvo Car USA secured a strong February result of 9,164 cars sold, up 16.9 percent over 2020, and its ninth consecutive month of year-over-year growth. Year-to-date Volvo Car USA is up 23.7 percent, up +3,317 cars over the same period last year.
The entire Volvo model lineup was up year-over-year, led by the brand’s luxury SUVs which accounted for 80 percent of total sales.
