Members of Living Word Lutheran Church in Alexandria celebrated the purchase of land for a future building site at a special service Sunday.

The 225-member Living Word Lutheran Church (LWLC) of Alexandria celebrated the purchase of an eight-acre building site on McKay Avenue Sunday, October 23.
Pastor AJ Kluver led the congregation in prayer and celebration. Members viewed the newly acquired property and the site plan.
LWLC was organized two years ago and serves Alexandria and the surrounding area.

MARSHALL Services for Orlin Bruss, 71, of Marshall. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., today, again at the church. Occupancy limits and social distancing must be observed throughout all services. Masks are required at all public indoor gatherings.
