FAMU Theatre to livestream virtual performances of ‘Calming the Man’
Taylor County author and playwright Anthony White’s play, “Calming the Man,” has been chosen by the Florida A&M University’s Essential Theater for its Writing for Life Playing Reading Series.
Free live-streamed performances of “Calming the Man,” directed by Luther D. Wells, will be available Feb. 26-27.
The Essential Theater also produced a stage run of White’s play, “The Long Goodbye,” in the fall of 2018.
“Calming the Man” is set in Greenville and features a the story of two young men who are determined not to let their father’s anger break them, regardless of the cost.
