New Delhi: Hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi told floor leaders of various political parties that his government s offer on the farm laws made to protesting farmers “still stands” and it was a “phone call away” for talks, farmer leaders released a statement saying there is no question of closing the path of dialogue with the government.

New Delhi, Jan 31 : The first phase of Rajya Sabha s Budget Session will conclude two days ahead of the slated time with all political parties unanimously deciding on Sunday to end the sittings on February 13 in place of February 15.
The decision was taken in the Parliamentary Affairs Committee meeting chaired by the upper house s Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu.
Leaders of all political parties unanimously decided that the first part of the budget session would be conducted by February 13 so that the Parliamentary Committees attached to the Ministries and Departments can inquire into their demands for grants.
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that new world order is about to take shape after the Covid-19 pandemic and India has a big role to play in the emerging new world order.
Addressing the meeting of NDA leaders here, he said this decade is a very important, just like the decade after second world war and India will rise to the occasion.
He said that unlike in the past, we are not going to be a mute spectator . We will rise to the occasion based on our traditions and ideals of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the Prime Minister said.
