Tony Reeves. The state s Board of Public Safety Standards and Training will consider the recommendation at a meeting July 22.
Man convicted after spitting on officer while claiming to have COVID-19
HILLSBORO, Oregon (KPTV) The Washington County District’s Attorney’s Office announced a man has been convicted of attempted second-degree assault, aggravated harassment and driving under the influence of intoxicants.
On May 11, Miguel Hernandez-Cuesta was sentenced to six months in jail, three years in probation and had his license revoked for life.
According to the sheriff’s office in the early morning hours of July 26, 2020, Hernandez-Cuesta tried to place an order at a drive-thru window at a restaurant in Tualatin. Once the order was placed, he pulled up to the second window and fell asleep at the wheel of his vehicle. A store manager then confronted Hernandez-Cuesta who denied he was under the influence. He then pulled into a parking spot at the restaurant and fell asleep at the wheel a second time.

Dr. Maria Macduff said she wants to know what led to the police shooting her son, Jacob Macduff
The mother of a man shot and killed by Tigard police officers in January is still seeking answers about what happened, and says she believes her son was entering a psychotic episode when he was shot by police.
Jacob Ryan Macduff was shot and killed by Officer Gabriel Maldonado on Jan. 6, after Tigard police say officers confronted him in his truck. Police said Macduff refused to surrender and was carrying a knife.
Four months after Macduff died at the Tigard apartment complex where he lived, the family is still awaiting details of the man s death, Macduff s mother, Dr. Maria Macduff, and her attorney, Scott Levin, told reporters Monday, May 17.
