LAS VEGAS, NV - CBRE Capital Markets’ Debt & Structured Finance group has secured $35.65 million in construction financing for the development of Olympic and Mountain Vista Apartments, a planned 300-unit, garden style multifamily community in Henderson, Nev.
CBRE’s Bob Ybarra, Bruce Francis, Shaun Moothart, Dana Summers, Doug Birrell and Jennifer Ansari worked on behalf of the borrower, a joint venture between Tradewind Properties and American Nevada Company, to obtain a three-year interest only loan through Washington Federal Bank.
“COVID-19 certainly made the marketing of the loan more difficult, but I’m very pleased with the terms that we were able to obtain for our client. We ended up with a lower floor rate (3.25%) and higher loan amount than what the pre-COVID-19 terms were by running a competitive bid process to identify the outlier lender,” said Bob Ybarra, Senior Vice President, CBRE.

“We’ve had so many kind words said on Facebook, and it’s humbling,” owner Kevin McGrath said. “You don’t realize how many people you’ve touched in your life in the food industry, and I didn’t realize that, until we closed the Las Cruces stores how much impact it had locally.”
Unlawful assembly declared in downtown Portland after several windows smashed
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) The Portland Police Bureau said an unlawful assembly was declared after a group of people made their way through downtown Portland and smashed windows Wednesday night.
According to PPB, at about 9:15 p.m., a group of about 60 people first gathered in Chapman Square Park and marched to Southwest 2nd Avenue to the front of the bureau’s Central Precinct, where some group members applied graffiti.
The group then went to the Multnomah County County Courthouse on Southwest 1st Avenue and Madison Street just before 10 p.m. Police said someone attempted to pry open the doors while others used umbrellas to cover the “criminal activity.” A window at the courthouse was broken.
