The Washington Department of Labor and Industries has fined Gebbers Farms $2-million for coronavirus violations after they say ‘Gebbers made it clear they had no intention of following the rules,’ something a Gebbers spokesman says is simply untrue.

As a grower, your success is predicated on caring for your workforce, making sure that they’re safe and healthy and I don’t know of any growers that would put, you know, a worker at risk because it directly reflects on you as an individual and on your business as a whole.”

Gym Fined Nearly $10K Per Day for Remaining Open in Defiance of Coronavirus Restrictions

Staying locked down can be hugely expensive for businesses. However, for one particular business in Washington State, remaining open has its costs as well.
Graham Fitness, a gym based in Graham, Washington, was recently hit with eight violations for defying Governor Jay Inslee’s Safe Start” order. One violation for each day they have defied the order. The resulting fines accumulated over the eight days total $77, 112.
