Pierce County launching several mobile testing sites this week

Pierce County has several free mobile COVID-19 testing sites opening this week, according to its website. Mobile testing stations are in the community so people can get tested for COVID-19, the site says. These tests are free. Identification is not required. On-site staff can help you register. Results are available in five to seven days. Complete one form for each person getting tested.

REDMOND, Wash. Microsoft will open a COVID-19 vaccination site at its Redmond campus to reduce the burden on local health care facilities.
The company is partnering with EvergreenHealth and Overlake Medical Center & Clinics to relocate their vaccine operations.
After the initial ramp-up phase, the site at the company s conference center will be open to all eligible people in accordance with state guidelines. EvergreenHealth and Overlake will manage the administration of the vaccine and coordinate with King County officials to focus on vaccinating the most vulnerable people in the community.

Clark County residents continue to struggle with the online system for making COVID-19 vaccination appointments at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds in Ridgefield.
On Sunday afternoon, a new batch of appointments became available online, but dozens of residents said they were kicked out of the appointment portal or experienced the website crashing, according to emails and calls The Columbian received, as well as a Monday community briefing hosted by Clark County Public Health.
