These future doctors, nurses, therapists, midwives, medical technologists and physical therapists appear like they are being fed into the lair.
Late last month, the Commission on Higher Education (Ched) released a list of 24 schools that have complied with the guidelines for reopening. Ched Chairman Prospero de Vera III said they have been “inspected by Ched and their LGUs so they can now bring their third and fourth year students for hands-on training and laboratory classes in a limited face-to-face system.”

CEBU CITY – Some 50 medical workers from Cebu will reinforce the government’s COVID-19 response in Metro Manila.
A send-off ceremony will be held Wednesday for the 11 doctors, 35 nurses, and four medical technologists from Cebu, Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, spokesperson of the Department of Health-Central Visayas (DOH Region 7), said in a press briefing Tuesday.
The team will depart at 3 p.m. or a few hours after the send-off ceremony that will be attended by key local officials.
The healthcare workers set to leave for Manila are from Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center and Cebu City Health Department.
Loreche said the DOH Region 7 has been hiring medical workers who will be sent to the National Capital Region (NCR) that has been experiencing a steady rise of COVID-18 cases.
