NaramataSlow community group spokesperson Dawn Lennie says the group recently installed a ‘seed library’ near the community permaculture garden on Ellis Street in Naramata. “The concept is similar to a neighbourhood book exchange, those little boxes on residential streets that have books people can drop off or borrow, except in this case, people come and exchange seeds,” Lennie says. The idea came from the community’s two book exchanges located beside a vineyard on Naramata Road, and at the Naramata coffee shop.
