Groups360 Launches Direct Booking Solution for Groups with IHG Hotels & Resorts

Groups360 and IHG Hotels & Resorts today announced the release of GroupSync Engage, the hospitality industry’s first integrated direct booking solution for groups to include both meeting space and guestrooms. IHG is the first brand to launch the streamlined instant booking capability on the platform, which will initially be available at approximately 30 hotels in the U.S. in the coming weeks.
GroupSync Engage offers a breakthrough online booking solution for meeting and event planners and hotel brands. Event planners can now book guestrooms, meeting space or both in a convenient, online transaction. This initial rollout marks the first of many deployments of GroupSync Engage with IHG during 2021.

Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites Houston - Galleria Area announced a key leadership appointment for its new 319-room property managed by American Liberty Hospitality (ALH), a Houston-based hotel development and management firm. Andrew Mirsky will oversee the sales efforts as Director of Sales for the dual-branded hotel on target to debut this spring. Both brands are franchises of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
Mirsky was most recently the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Houston Marriot Sugar Land, and before that, Director of Sales & Marketing at Houston Marriott Energy Corridor. He also held sales management positions at Sheraton Suites Market Center Dallas and began his hotel career as Director of Outlets at Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria. Mirsky is a member of the Texas Society of Association Executives and Meeting Professionals International and currently is on the Board of Directors for the Sugar Land Skeeters Foundation.
