A first inside look at the design of the planned $30-million Catholic Central High School was provided this week by the project’s architect to the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board.
The new two-storey high school will be constructed at 2465 McDougall Ave. on a vacant land that many years ago was home to a par three golf course and has sat largely vacant awaiting development for the past decade.

Construction on the 11-acre site will begin almost immediately with completion scheduled in time for students to occupy the new high school in September, 2022, according to Paul Sapounzi, managing partner of VG Architects, who provided a half-hour presentation to the Catholic board on the final design.
