The crash happened about 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Freeport and Wheeler roads.
According to the Sheriff s Department, the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also according to the Sheriff s Department, the preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle was westbound on Freeport Road and the tow truck was northbound on Wheeler Road before the crash.
The tow truck driver was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
The money would be spent over five years.
