Posted: Apr 13, 2021 12:47 PM Posted By: Mike Bunge OSSIAN, Iowa – Four people are arrested after an investigation that started with a drunken disturbance leads to the discovery of a large amount of narcotics. The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office says it was called Monday about a disturbance near Main Street and N Lydia Street in Ossian. Deputies say they found Michael Foland and Joshua Koller intoxicated and in possession of a loaded firearm. A search warrant was then executed for an apartment and vehicle located in the 100 block of N Lydia Street. Investigators say they found a large amount of marijuana and prescription pills along with scales and packaging materials.

Chris Berg6 hours agoLast Updated: April 6, 2021 Ossian, IA – A northeastern Iowa man was arrested after a search warrant turned up close to two pounds of methamphetamine, valued at around $25,000. The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant on Thursday of last week at 306 E. Main St. in Ossian. 63-year-old Fred Pa was arrested and charged with felony-controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and gather where controlled substances are used. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests and charges pending. The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Winneshiek County Attorney’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff s Office said the warrant was executed Thursday at 306 E. Main St. and resulted in the arrest of Fred Pa.  He s facing charges of felony controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and gathering where controlled substances are used.
