Syracuse, NY (April 21, 2021) Regal is proud to announce Destiny USA 4DX, IMAX & RPX in your coverage area will open this Friday, April 23. Mortal Kombat from WB will headline new movies including The Unholy and Godzilla vs. Kong, along with a strong slate of highly-anticipated movies opening in the coming weeks including Spiral, A Quiet Place Part II and F9. Reopening plans include a wide range of health and safety measures that adhere to the CinemaSafe protocol and guidelines.

Syracuse, N.Y. Winter is over (mostly) which means it’s almost time for construction season in Syracuse.
Mayor Ben Walsh’s administration is asking the Common Council for permission to borrow $4 million to pave 9.1 miles of roads. Another six miles of roads will be paved this summer using millions in state and federal funds secured in 2017.
All told, the city should get about 15 miles of freshly paved streets by the end of summer. It’s the biggest batch of new pavement since Mayor Ben Walsh took office, thanks to some previously scheduled work on downtown streets.

Destiny USA expanding hours, more tenants reopening

Starting Friday April 23, the mall will be open:
10 am. to 7 p.m. Monday to Wednesday
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday to Saturday
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday
Starting June 28, the mall will return to its regular operating hours:
10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday
Hours could still vary at some tenants.
The mall is expanding hours thanks to rising vaccination numbers and customer demand, Destiny marketing director Nikita Jankowski said in a press release. The reopening of Regal Cinemas also played a role in the decision to increase hours.
