New York State Team After taking a wait-and-see approach to the coronavirus vaccines, Sean Salmonson of Dutchess County received his second shot of the Moderna vaccine at a former JC Penney store at the Poughkeepsie Galleria on May 22. Salmonson, a 28-year-old mechanic from the City of Poughkeepsie, said he remembered visiting the JCPenney store before it closed in October. However, the mechanic also recalled the lack of notoriety and product availability that plagued the department store for years. This store was too big, Salmonson said. They didn t have too many name-brand stuff and the stuff they had was old and out of style.

Several Disney Stores Across The U S Are Closing

The Walt Disney Company has made plans to close 20% of its Disney Store locations across North America. The company operates 300 stores nationwide, and the decision to close 20% of them has been made as the pandemic has pushed more consumers to avoid in-person shopping and to strictly shop online. “We now plan to create a more flexible, interconnected ecommerce experience that gives consumers easy access to unique, high-quality products across all our franchises,” Stephanie Young, Disney’s president of consumer products, games and publishing, said in a statement. Will The Disney Store in Destiny USA Be Closing? Unfortunately, yes. They will be closing in June, per the company website.
