Joshua Cornelius Turmon, 36, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana, Class C felony child neglect, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor possession of crack cocaine and Class A misdemeanor possession of alprazolam, which is commonly known as ecstasy.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Ward County Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant on Thursday for Turmon’s residence at 809 1th Avenue SE, No. 306. The search of Turmon’s bedroom turned up about 2.5 ounces of marijuana divided into 11 bags packaged for sale; about 3.16 grams of methamphetamine; about 1.2 grams of crack cocaine; nine ecstasy pills; an electronic scale with suspected drug residue; a Kimber 9mm handgun with ammunition; used syringes and other drug paraphernalia and items with drug residue. Turmon is also accused of exposing a child to the drugs.
