Registration
Registration is underway for Stuttgart School District’s 2021-22 school year. Nikki Hawkins, Director of Communications and Student Services at Stuttgart Public Schools, said registration is presently focused on students going into the ninth grade next school year and students entering pre-school. Students who are currently in the eighth grade need to pick up a registration packet from school counselor Kim Lisko this week.
“The packets have to be turned back in to Kim Lisko by Monday, April 5. She will be having several Zoom classes this week to let the kids know what to expect about classes and things of that nature. Students, get those packets from her and plan to attend at least one of the Zoom sessions that she is having,” Hawkins said.

Stuttgart played their best half of the season in the first half on Friday night. The Ladybirds carried a 21-8 lead into the locker room and looked to be in total control of the game.
In doing so, Stuttgart limited their turnovers to nine in the first two quarters while Mya McCoy delivered six second-quarter points to lead all scorers.
Stuttgart’s defense was most impressive to watch in the first half. Using a 2-1-2 zone, the Ladybirds kept Wynne out of the lane while also doing an excellent job on the defensive glass.
