WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona County health officials have opened up vaccine clinics to the general population.
“If there’s anyone out who has been waiting for those priority populations to be offered or administered the vaccine, now is the time that it is your turn,” said Public Health Supervisor Melanie Tatge. “You can sign up for one of our available vaccine appointments.
That echoes Winona County Emergency Management coordinator Ben Klinger, who earlier this week said, “If you have been waiting for your turn, it is here. Many people have been waiting because they worry other people may need it more. Those high-risk populations have been reached, and now is the time for the general public to receive their vaccine. The Minnesota Department of Health has stated we should assume the COVID-19variants are in all communities within Minnesota, and it is important to get vaccinated to stop that spre
