Andover Labour council candidate accused of child sexual abuse

A FORMER Labour council candidate has been accused of sexually abusing a child. Adam Buckenham stood in the Andover Downlands ward in the Test Valley Borough Council elections in 2019. He is also the former chairman of the Picket Twenty Neighbourhood Watch. He has been charged with 20 offences, including child sexual abuse, rape, taking indecent photographs of a child and voyeurism. The 45-year-old, who now lives on the Isle of Wight, is alleged to have incited the child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to engage in sexual activity, including kissing, groping and oral sex. He is further charged with three counts of rape.

Ventnor man facing child sex charges

Buckenham, of York Road in Ventnor, is also accused of three counts of taking indecent photographs of the child, and one count of recording them performing a private act without consent.

Hezekiah Ondzie accused of drug dealing and possessing knife

Hezekiah Ondzie has been charged with having the knife in Glebe Gardens on July 31, 2019. The 18-year-old has further been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession of criminal property - £677 in cash. Appearing via video link at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning, Ondzie did not indicate pleas to any of the charges. District Judge Timothy Pattinson decided that the case was not suitable to proceed at Magistrates’ Court.

Reading man Tyrone Potter denies operating drugs network

A Reading man has denied operating a county lines drug network in Basingstoke. Tyrone Potter, of Chiltern Crescent in Earley, Reading, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs across the town. It is claimed by the prosecution that the 24-year-old was involved in the dealing of heroin and crack cocaine for two years. Appearing at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday morning, Potter entered not guilty pleas. He was remanded into custody, and the case has been listed for a management hearing on January 14, at the same court. No date has been set for his trial.

Jury still to be sworn in for Boscombe murder trial

Winchester Crown Court A JURY is not set to be sworn in for a Bournemouth murder trial until at least tomorrow, a court has heard. A 16-year-old boy from London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of murdering James Cutting in Boscombe Chine Gardens on June 30 last year. He is also charged with attempting to murder another man, wounding with intent and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs – cocaine and diamorphine – to another. The boy denies all charges. Khalid Nuur Mohamed, aged 19 and of Grange Park Road, Leyton, Waltham Forest, is accused of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and diamorphine to another and assisting an offender. Nicholas Mark Bransky, aged 49, and of Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, is accused of assisting an offender. Mohamed and Bransky have pleaded not guilty to all charges.
