At an online meeting on January 29 with health units in charge of establishing the hospitals, Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long hailed the fast action of Hai Duong, with the support from the Health Ministry, the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases and Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi. One of them was built at the medical centre of Chi Linh city, and staffed by 45 doctors and about 70 nurses who can provide treatment for 200 patients. The hospital has admitted 31 patients, including one with underlying diseases and two pregnant women.

Vietravel Airlines opens first ticket sales after inauguration

Vietnam’s sixth carrier, Vietravel Airlines, opened ticket sales for commercial flights starting at 1:00 am on Tuesday following its inauguration late last month. Travelers can purchase tickets at its website, www.vietravelairlines.com. On this occasion, the new carrier offers 50,000 tickets at VND0, excluding taxes and fees, from Tuesday to January 25 or until tickets are sold out. General Director of Vietravel Airlines Vu Duc Bien said that its first commercial flights are scheduled to take off on January 25, with routes to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hue City in central Thua Thien - Hue Province, Phu Quoc island off southern Kien Giang Province, and Nha Trang City in south-central Khanh Hoa Province operating one to two flights a day.
