Thirty cybersecurity teams from industry-leading finance, insurance, and stock brokerage companies in Vietnam gathered in Hanoi on Wednesday for the DF Cyber Defense 2020 cybersecurity competition organized by Vietnam’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC).
The competition was centered on a mock cyberattack targeting the assets and data of finance and banking firms.
Specifically, the DF Cyber Defense 2020 asked each team to fend off attacks on major financial institutions by hackers classified as an advanced persistent threat (APT) that seeks to infiltrate the data center of major financial institutions.
