Following a relocation to a new production facility in Helsingborg, Sweden, Marvaco Group has invested in nyloflex Xpress Thermal system to reduce solvent processing in plate manufacturing and increase the sustainability of its production.
‘This technology installation is the first of its kind in Scandinavia. Our unit in Helsingborg is now the first completely solvent-free pre-press house in the Nordic countries,’ said Jan Viberg, GM of Marvaco Sweden. ‘Customer demand is constantly rising, and this allows us to continue to provide the highest-quality services more sustainably.’
The new premises are planned for an optimal production flow with efficient heating and lower energy consumption. At the same time, the installation of state-of-the-art equipment reduces energy consumption compared to traditional plate production. This, combined with the site s strategical location, leads to more eco-efficient and agile flexo plate production.
