The John M. and Bernice Parrott Foundation has donated $215,000 to Hospice Quinte.
“The remarkable support we have received from The Parrott Foundation reminds us what the ‘Season of Giving’ is all about. This generous donation brings us closer to our $9.5M capital campaign goal and also helps our organization off-set general funding losses experienced this year as a result of the pandemic,” said Jennifer May-Anderson, executive director with Hospice Quinte.
Hospice Quinte will use $200,000 for the new facility, while $15,000 will go towards operating costs.
The new six-bed Hospice Quinte Care Centre is currently being built along Highway 2, across from Bayside Secondary School.
