Staff with Hospice Quinte have announced that they will be naming a portion of their new Hospice Quinte Care Centre after The John. M. and Bernice Parrott Foundation
The foundation has donated a total of $500,000 to support the new hospice building.
The resident wing of the building will be known as the John M. & Bernice Parrott Hospice Care Wing.
Construction on the new Hospice Quinte Care Centre is expected to be completed this fall. The new building is located across from Bayside Secondary School, along Highway 2.

This year Hospice Quinte invites local residents to mark National Hospice Palliative Care Week by lighting up the night on Friday, May 7 with people across the country.
National Hospice Palliative Care Week is coordinated by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) – the national voice for hospice palliative care in Canada.
