According to Dexerto, MrBeast made the announcement on his official Twitter account on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
The tweet said: Later this year NASA is putting a rover on the moon and I managed to buy storage space on it. I thought it d be fun to let you guys put whatever you want on the moon lol.
