The 19.3 inches of snow that fell at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport on Monday and Tuesday put it in the top 10 to hit the region.
The National Weather Service in Binghamton is considering the recent wintery weather one big storm, said Adam Gill, meteorologist.
The accumulation totals date back to 1906, when the region was hit with 15 inches of snow. Monday and Tuesdayâs snow sits at No. 7. The storm in March 2017 still holds the No. 1 spot with 23.6 inches of snow.
