Luke Naish. - Credit: Sarah Burrows The family of a Weston man who took his own life are challenging the inquest findings into his death  Luke Naish’s family is hoping to challenge the uncritical inquest into his death by applying to the High Court for a judicial review. Luke s family has a launched a CrowdJustice fundraiser and campaign page on Facebook called Voice for Luke which has so far raised more than £1,000. The inquest, which concluded on January 23, identified no failures or points of learning for those tasked with Luke’s care.  The family remains concerned about the care Luke received for dual diagnosis of mental ill health and addictions, as well as unaddressed supported living needs.

Polar fund manager Guy Rushton took his own life following extreme stress Inquest hears how fund manager was ‘extremely stressed’ about his health, work pressures and dwindling fund Polar Capital fund manager Guy Rushton took his own life in May last year having been “uncertain about the future” and “extremely stressed” about his health, the pressures of work and the dwindling size of his fund, a coroner’s court has heard. Rushton, 36, was found dead in a barn near his home in Wiltshire shortly after he went missing on 22 May, 2020. Two weeks before his death, he had been discharged from a psychiatric hospital and had been prescribed antidepressants following a previous suicide attempt.
