Legislators join One Acadiana to talk tax reform, sales tax centralization View Comments Acadiana s business community pushed hard for tax reform and centralized sales tax collection during the legislative session, and legislators joined chamber of commerce members Friday to talk about the successes from the session. One Acadiana held the legislative review panel with the area s legislative delegation to provide members with an overview of the legislators work on changing the state s tax code, disbursing money from the American Rescue Plan and centralizing sales tax collections  which has been a priority for Louisiana business owners for decades. This was, quite possibly, I believe one of the most productive sessions we ve seen in a while, said Troy Wayman, the president and CEO of One Acadiana, which serves as the chamber of commerce for Lafayette Parish and the Acadiana region.
