Front Office Sports reports “The impasse in contract negotiations between Super Bowl broadcaster Jim Nantz and CBS Sports is attracting the attention of a big possible bidder: ESPN. If Nantz hits free agency this summer, ESPN is interested in possibly making him the face of its NFL and Masters golf coverage, said sources. With ESPN parent Walt Disney Co. poised to land one if not two NFL TV packages, Nantz could be on the mic as ABC/ESPN broadcast future Super Bowls.”

How would you describe sports in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic?
We just need to be thankful to God for keeping us alive. No one is praying for a year like that again. The pandemic ruined things for everybody. A lot of people you never thought would pass away did as a result of the pandemic. I had some issues with coronavirus too, but I give thanks to God that I was able to come back stronger. Generally, 2020 was a bad year for sports in Lagos, the country and worldwide. That’s why we are hoping for a better 2021.
