The Management of Wikki Tourists football club of Bauchi has confirmed the resignation of the Technical Adviser of the club, Coach Usman Abd’Allah.
The club secretary, Abdullahi Ibrahim who confirmed the resignation in a telephone interview with our correspondent said “Yes, it is true Coach Usman Abd’Allah tendered his resignation letter to the management on Tuesday and his letter has been forwarded to the state government.
“We are waiting for the government’s response for the next action. We will make public our next action as soon as we hear from the government.”
In the letter of resignation, the former Enyimba coach said “With most respect and gratitude for having given me the privilege to work with you, I am very sad to tender my resignation as the Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists football club of Bauchi. I wish Wikki Tourists football club success in its future endeavours.”

Bauchi State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN), has expressed displeasure over the current performance of Wikki Tourists football club of Bauchi in the ongoing Nigerian professional football league.
According to SWAN through its Secretary, Bala Bawaji Konkyiel, having played twenty-one matches, the team currently occupies the fifteenth position on the log with twenty-four points, which does not reflect the efforts and investment of the state government in the club.

Sports and journalism suffered two deadly blows in three days. Ahmed Mohiuddin, popularly known as ‘Saleembhai,’ passed away on Sunday morning while Asad Shameem breathed his last on Friday night. The Sports Writers Association of Telangana (SWAT) mourned the loss of its two much-loved members, while a bigger outpouring of grief is bound to follow when word gets around of their demise.
“The first wave stripped Shameem of his job (at Etemaad), the second claimed his life,” was a poignant post on social media by a friend about the sports in-charge of the soon-to-be-launched Adaab Telangana.
