Pregame notes
The Washington Wizards play against the Indiana Pacers in what could be a possible regular season series sweep. Russell Westbrook has dominated against the Pacers and hopefully will do so on Saturday night.
Wizards are half a game behind which means if they win they’ll move up to the ninth spot in the standings. If the season were to end and the Wizards won they’d host a play-in tournament game instead of being the visitor. They’re even a game and a half behind the Charlotte Hornets for the eighth spot which would be even better based on how the play-in tournament works.

Pregame notes
The Washington Wizards (30-36) are coming off a 135-134 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks last night. In a back-to-back game on Thursday, they’ll have their third meeting with the Toronto Raptors (27-39). On Feb. 10 the Raptors beat the Wizards 137-115. In their second matchup on April 5, Gary Trent Jr. hit a game-winning three-pointer for the Raptors.
Pregame Notes
The Washington Wizards are coming off an overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs ending their win streak at eight games. On Wednesday, they’ll have their second meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers. The first meeting resulted in an overtime win for Washington. In that game the Lakers were without Anthony Davis and in this game LeBron James will be out with the possibility of Davis as well.
Washington holds the advantage with a healthier team, but they’ll have to play how they have been to hold up. With the loss to the Spurs, they’re currently only one game ahead to remain in the play-in tournament. The Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors aren’t far behind.

What to Look Out For
Russell Westbrook is 11 triple-doubles away from breaking the record currently held by Oscar Robertson. If he does break it, what will that do for his career? But in the meantime he’s been dominating the game making him and Bradley one of the best backcourt duos in the league averaging a combined 50+ points per game. Something finally clicked with Westbrook and what that has meant for the Washington Wizards is they’ll be winning more than losing hopefully.
