A FUNDRAISER is taking on a challenge to run 100 miles in one day - and he has already pulled in almost £20,000 for charity. Harry Townshend is attempting to run 100 miles of Dorset footpath in 24 hours, starting today. (Saturday, July 10) Mr Townshend, a renewable energy developer who has family living in Dorset, has set himself the challenge to raise money and draw attention to the work of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT). The 36-year-old father of two from London said: “It’s a simple plan - I set off at 7am on Saturday, and I don’t stop until I’ve run 100 miles.”
