FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA The Fairfax County Health Department announced Monday COVID-19 vaccine registrations have opened to certain essential workers in phase 1c.
People who live or work in the Fairfax Health District (Fairfax County or cities of Falls Church or Fairfax) and fall into these essential worker groups can register: energy; water, wastewater, and waste removal workers; housing and construction; food service; transportation and logistics; and institutions of higher education faculty and staff.
Other groups that will be eligible later in phase 1c are workers in finance; information technology and communication; media; legal services; public safety (engineers); and other public health workers).
