While we’re not there yet, numbers show we’re heading in the right direction. “The thing that provides really good feedback to us is the number of cases that we’re seeing daily is so much less. I mean it’s just wonderful and the number of hospitalizations has decreased drastically,” said Amy Fagan, Assistant Director of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District.

Second-dose COVID vaccine clinic this Saturday There will be a vaccination clinic this Saturday, Feb. 6, at the North Texas State Hospital for individuals getting their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This clinic is only for individuals who received their first dose at the vaccine clinic Jan. 16 at the NTSH. The appointment time for a person’s second dose with be the same time as their first dose Jan. 16. Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District staff will be calling all these individuals to remind them of their appointments. If a person does not answer, a message will be left. Individuals must bring their vaccination card to the vaccine clinic.
