Cover crops and a custom-built seeder are helping Chatham, Ontario farmer Matt Howe manage soil erosion on his farm.
Through a Farmland Health Check-Up assessment and advice from AGRIS Co-operative certified crop advisor (CCA) Mike Veenema, Howe has identified and implemented best management practices to reduce soil and wind erosion and compaction on his Kent County farm.
