The Shiv Sena mouthpiece, Saamana, asked in its editorial on Wednesday if it would have been a big deal had the government taken a step back on the controversial farm laws.
The farm unions, which have received favourable notice so far, are being questioned over the manner in which their rally spun out of control and resulted in chaos in Delhi on Republic Day.
Addressing a press conference, Delhi police commissioner S N Srivastava said farmer unions did not follow conditions set for the tractor rally that was supposed to be held from 12 noon to 5 PM and accused them of betrayal.
