As the farmers protest at various points of Delhi borders enters its day 82 on Wednesday, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party asked its leaders to reach out to the masses, especially farmers on the three contentious farm laws.
Amit Shah s Crucial Meeting Over Farmers Protest:- The farmers across the country are protesting against the introduced farm laws by the Centre. The negotiations between the Centre and the Farmer Unions were not successful and the protests are happening for the past couple of months. The opposition leaders slammed the Centre for ignoring the farmers. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent speeches made it clear that the BJP government is never against the farmers and they pitched the new farm laws to support them. The governments of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab are facing the heat due to the agitation of the farmers and they conveyed the same to the Centre and the leaders. The BJP leadership is now keen to settle the issue at the earliest.

Restore internet at protest sites, else will hold demonstration: Krantikari Kisan Union to Govt
As the internet services were shut down in parts of Delhi-NCR close to farmers protest sites, Krantikari Kisan Union leader Darshal Pal has appealed to the government to restore the services, else the farmers will protest against it. We demand the restoration of internet services in areas where agitation is going on. Otherwise, we will hold a demonstration against it in the country, Pal said while addressing the media on Friday.
The Haryana government on Friday suspended all mobile internet, SMS, and dongle services in 17 districts including Sonipat, Palwal, and Jhajjar till 5 pm on January 30. The voice calls, however, are exempted as earlier from the suspension.

The Delhi Police on Wednesday said that over 25 criminal cases had been filed and 19 arrested for the violence during the farmers’ massive Republic Day tractor rally.
Earlier in the day, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) and Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan announced their decision to withdraw from the ongoing farmers’ protest, a day after the violence.
