In a bid to support ongoing farmer agitation against Centre s farm laws, Sachin Pilot, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, will be taking to road in Tonk district of Rajasthan .
Pilot will be holding more than 20 public meetings in Tonk, his assembly constituency, over two days in a bid to drum up support in favour of ongoing farmer agitation against Centre s farm laws.
The public meetings will be held at several places in Tonk on January 10 including Chandlai, Lavadar, Ghaans, Harchandera, Bamor, Sonwa, Arniamal, Kabra, Takholi, Sankhna, Chaan, Dakhiya and Lamba.
The wanted diamond merchant remains remanded in custody and will appear for a routine 28-day remand hearing via videolink in the interim on February 5.
Thousands of farmers from Punjab and Haryana, who have been protesting against Centre's three contentious farm laws, will hold a tractor march at the Singhu, Ghazipur and Tikri borders on Thursday to press the government to accept their demands.

The farmers, who have been camping on the borders of Delhi for over a month in protest against the new farm laws, continued their agitation amid a downpour leading to waterlogging at the protest sites. Farmers were seen huddled together under blankets inside their vehicles to keep warm. Tents were set up with waterproof tarpaulin sheets as protection from the rain.
