New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reassured that his government is working for the welfare of the farming community and asserted that the three recently-passed farm laws will benefit the farmers. He assured that the Acts will help the kisans getting appropriate price for their agriculture produce and also give them the freedom to sell their crops in any part of the country.
Addressing the Jal Abhishekam program, Singh said that a myth was being created in the country that the fresh farm laws will lead to end of the Minimum Support Price (MSP), the Mandi system and the land of the farmers would be mortgaged. The union minister assured the farmer that the MSP will continue and Mandi system will be strengthened across the country.
