Data will no longer be updated on weekends. “We have staff who have been doing these updates now, seven days a week, for 15 months,” DeSalvo said. “So we’re glad to be able to be in a place with the pandemic to move to a five day per week schedule.” Weekend numbers will instead be available on Mondays. They’ll also focus more on rolling seven-day averages instead of daily case numbers.
