MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – New COVID-19 cases remain low Sunday in Wisconsin, one day after the state surpassed 5 million total vaccinations administered.
For the second straight day the Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting under 300 new cases with 147 on Sunday. Saturday’s total was 293.
As new daily case totals have been trending downward, so has the seven-day case average, which decreased to 324 Sunday.
No new COVID-19 deaths were reported Sunday by the DHS as the total remains at 6,989.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 608,432 confirmed cases and over 2.9 million negative test results.
